| (in English) | In this paper,we propose EMGUI(User Interface by ElectroMyoGraphy) and a method of motion recognition for EMGUI. EMGUI is conposed of 2 or more types of interface parts e.g,button and lever, which are desinged by considering the characteristics of EMG and motions. A button type UI parts is assigned instantaneous motions,and a lever type UI parts is assigned motions that have certain duration. For a button type UI, the motion is recognized by SVM using short-term features,and for a lever type UI, the motion is recognized by HMM using shor-term features and time series pattern. We conducted experiences for verifying our framework and the recognizion of motions by using from 2 to 4 motions of arms and fingers, and the results show the efficacy of the proposed method. |
