The Knee Joint Angle Prediction using s-EMG during Walking

(in English) In this paper, we proposed the knee joint angle prediction system using adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (abbr.ANFIS). The conventional researches were mainly using surface-electromyogram (abbr. s-EMG) and the knee joint angle information as inputs. However, prediction of the knee joint angle using only s-EMG had not good performance. Therefore, we proposed the knee joint angle predictional system using s-EMG information during walk. Our proposed system is required for useful prosthetic limb etc, . Prediction system used the recurrent-type ANFIS and batch-type BackPropagation learning algorithm. We tested our proposed system about the prediction performance and the conditions of prediction using computer simulations.
