The image recognition and the understanding technology are tried to many applications in various fields. However, in case that the position, the number, and the size of the target can not be uniquely-defined, it is difficult to extract correctly the target out of the image In this case, it is impossible to find the conditions for the priority assumption as the position, the number, and the size of the target. In this research, the extraction of the road sign in the road scene image is handled as such an application example. The extraction method to solve the above problem is examined, even if neither the position, the number nor the size of the target cannot be defined in the image. This paper has explained the method of extracting the object body only using Active Net, applying contour extraction method BL-DCDAM to the control of Active Net in order to roughly specify the area where a target seems to exist. It is shown our proposal method can obtain the excellent result from the experiments. |
