A Proporsal of Threshold Calculation for Monitoring the Quantile of Packet Transfer Delay

(in English) In management of quality-awared IP networks, it is necessary to monitor the networks in order to recover accidents or quality impairments as soon as possible.
When we provide a delay-sensitive real-time application in IP networks, it is important to monitor the packet transfer delay which is the one of performance measures.
For detecting anomaly before the quality provided for users degrade, we study the anomaly detection method checking whether evaluation values is within expectation range in the normal operation.
In this paper, we focus on the quantile of packet transfer delay and propose a new method to determine the management threshold from prior measured samples.
In our simulations, we show that our method can determine the threshold which gives false detection rate nearer to the significance level with fewer samples than conventional method.
