Routing for reducing flow concentration on particular node

(in English) Flow convergence on particular node causes various problems such as degradation of QoS. In this paper, we proposed a new routing method for reducing the maximum number of relay flows on the node which relays maximum flows (called “the maximum number of relay flows”). Full search is required for calculating optimal algorithm of this problem. Then, we propose an approximate algorithm to calculate an near optimal solution by feasible computational costs. Moreover, when call loss is permitted on this method, the maximum number of relay flows can be reduced again. However, generally, there is trade-off relation between call loss rate and the maximum number of relay flows. Then, we show numerical relation between the call loss rate and the number of maximum relay flows. Finally, we show the effectiveness of our proposed method by simulation on variety network toporogy and traffic situations.
