| (in English) | Users in P2P content sharing have to contribute to services by uploading their own contents. However, such contributions are accompanied by offering their own resources such as bandwidths and storage. Therefore, users experience psychological dissatisfaction, namely the cost when they contribute resources. To motivate users to contribute their resources to the service, we proposed an incentive mechanism called EMOTIVER which improves the service quality by appropriately assigning rewards to users. In our previous works, we showed the relationship between effective rewarding method and users' dominant cost factor by using computer simulations. In this paper, we prove the effectiveness of the incentives by developing a P2P content sharing application and conducting experimental evaluation. | |
