Wireless LAN is widely used as a means to construct a flexible network low-cost. However, the area that wireless LAN can use stays within the limited range in the room and the hot spot, etc. , and is requested a further extending. Outdoor wireless LAN relay system that uses the fixed relay station is examined as a system to enable the use of wireless LAN widely in outdoor. It was assumed to construct the above-mentioned system in Hakozaki campus, Kyushu University, and the propagation channel in the relay line and the access line was measured and analyzed in a real environment. Moreover, it proposes the technique for improving the characteristic by considering the no signal part before the signal is received when the transmission timing of the method of the optimization of the reception weight coefficient of the adaptive array antenna in the AF type relay is offset to be a reference signal system.
The computer simulation by using the acquired real propagation data, and the transmission evaluation of characteristics of the multi career wireless relay of the proposal method and other methods was done. As a result, the effectiveness of the proposal method was shown, and the characteristic under the real propagation environment of the above-mentioned system was clarified. |
