| (in English) | FTTH service expansion is accelerated more and more, and construction that optical drop cable is led to home is expected to increase in various area in the world. In such an optical fiber construction, a field assembly connector is mainly used for the purpose which are convenient when cable wiring, and for reduction/good arrangement of extra cable length, and to simplify fiber storing in ONU or closure. We have developed many types of field assembly connector so far. In the process, we have worked out several improvement in order to realize good workability and to assembly without particular skill. Furthermore, we developed a high performance connector that realizes low return loss. We report these advanced technology of field assembly connectors. | |
