| (in English) | This paper presents method of Braille character recognition. Braille is very important for visually impaired person. In Japan, ratio of Braille users in all visually impaired people is approximately 10%. Braille reading is difficult than writing. Miyamoto is developed Braille character recognizing software and sold since 1993. User and their need are various. A person who can’t read Braille uses to read Braille letter. A person who can read Braille uses to reduce amount of Braille book. Another usage is for non-handicapped supporter to read Braille. | |
