Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) As electroencephalographic (EEG) activity during reaction time tasks shows, there are two types of EEG components: stimulus-locked components (SLCs) and stimulus-unlocked components (SUCs). In this study, we propose a generalized method for extracting these components. From single/multi-channel EEG epochs, the proposed method estimates the number and the delays of SUCs as well as the waveforms of SLCs and all of the SUCs.
