| (in English) | Various eye input devices are developed as a new interface. The eye input device has a common problem which is the false operation caused by the incorrect detection of eye position or gaze direction. In this study, we developed an eye-positional prediction and correction system with AR model to eliminate incorrect and overlooked eye detections which induce the false operation of the eye input device. Based on the Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and the prediction error, we investigated the suitable order and number of eye positional data for eye-positional prediction with the AR model. We also investigate the prediction accuracy by comparing the correct eye positions with predicted eye positions. The experimental results showed that the first order and three eye positions were appropriate to predict the eye position by using AR model. For prediction of eye positions after 10 frames, suitable order and number of eye positional data depended on the time series pattern of past eye positions. |
