| (in English) | This research revealed how seeing each other's face affects the performance of intellectual activities in group-oriented tasks. Theoretically, seeing each other's face depends on the category of the group task. On one hand, logical tasks are independent from seeing other's faces because they arise from individual reasoning that leads to find a truth. On the other hand, negotiation tasks, which needs consensus of all the members, are dependent on seeing faces. In the subjective experiment presented in this paper, the face-to-face contact of the participants was controlled using a curtain in a room where they were asked to solve logical and negotiation tasks. | |
