We are proposing the IllusionHole system, which allows three or more moving people to simultaneously observe individual stereoscopic image pairs from their own viewpoints. With a simple configuration, it provides intelligible 3D stereoscopic images free of flicker and distortion. Based on the idea of the IllusionHole, a prototype is established with two short throw DLP projectors and polarization filters. Since the prototype has no obstacles on the chassis, every side has an equal capability of being used to observe 3D objects. This paper describes details of the prototype. |
