(in English) In this paper, we shall present the high-frequency asymptotic analysis method for the electromagnetic wave propagation on the surface with an impedance discontinuity by applying the aperture field method. We will clarify that, when both the transmitting and the receiving antennas are placed at some height from the surface, the electromagnetic field can be represented by the geometrically reflected ray and the scattered field by
a discontinuity of the surface impedance. By comparing with the reference solution calculated numerically, the other solutions reported elsewhere, and the experimental results, we have confirmed the validity of the asymptotic solution derived in the present paper.
