Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) X-ray tubes with Graphite Nanospines (GNS) are investigated. A GNS and a control electrode were encapsulated in a glass tube with a X-ray target. The diameter and length of the glass tube were 28 mm and 36 mm, respectively. The pressure was below 1x10-7 Pa before chipping off the glass tube from a vacuum chamber. An anode current over 1 mA is obtained in a fabricated X-ray tube. There is no degradation in an anode current for 100 h. The control electrode is effective to control the anode current without a power loss. In this paper, we also report the stabilization of the anode current using the control electrode.
