Recursive Adaptive Receivers with Antenna Aray for SC-FDMA Communications

(in English) The Single-carrier FDMA(SC-FDMA) communication has received much attention for uplink mobile communication systems since it provides both the low PAPR system performance, and the MUI –free property even under the multi-path environments. The authors have previously reported MMSE receivers with adaptive antenna arrays for SC-FDMA in which the pilot-aided channel estimation based on batch processing was made using sample average and ML estimation methods. In this paper, we attempt to introduce the recursive MMSE receiver in the DFT domain in order to update the MMSE filter adaptively to the changing environment. Specifically we propose two receivers based on the recursive MMSE filter and LMS algorithm both operating in the DFT domain. Computer simulations are conducted, and the effectiveness of the proposed methods is shown in terms of SINR characteristics and BER characteristics.
