A range resolution is one of radar performance parameters.
Synthetic bandwidth radars are proposed to improve range resolutions.
However, it is required to compensate Doppler velocity.
Some Doppler velocity measurement methods for synthetic bandwidth radars are proposed.
However, they have some problems. For example, requiring a long observation time, being affected by second echoes.
In this paper, we propose a high accuracy Doppler velocity measurement method for synthetic bandwidth radars.
The proposed method does not require such a long observation time and are not affected by second echoes.
A numerical simulation shows that the proposed method can suppress second echo and measure Doppler velocity in high accuracy using a half observation time which the conventional method requires. |
