Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The power conversion efficiency of a crystal-silicon solar cell is nearly 20%, polycrystal-silicone solar cell is 15% and that of an amorphous silicon solar cell exceeds 10%. However, as silicon material is an inorganic material, the easily processable, flexible, lightweight and inexpensive inorganic solar cell is difficult. Because of these limitations of inorganic materials, the development of organic solar cell is being advanced in worldwide.
After a bulk-hetero junction structure was adopted for the structure of an organic solar cell, the organic solar cell of a power conversion efficiency exceeding 5% was developed. In the thin film fabricated by a 0.5%wt-Poly(3-hexylthiophene)[P3HT] chloroform-solution added poor-solvent ethanol, P3HT grains were found. Moreover, the thin film fabricated by 0.5wt%-PCBM {[6,6]-Phenyl-C61-Butyric Acid Methyl Ester} chloroform-solution added with poor solvent ethanol was formed by PCBM aggregations. In the thin film fabricated by the 0.5%wt-P3HT/0.5%wt-PCBM chloroform-solution added with poor solvent ethanol, the interpenetrating network may be formed. Therefore, the shape and morphology of the grains of P3HT and PCBM were investigated by AFM images and UV/vis spectra. Moreover, the interpenetrating network of the thin film fabricated by the 0.5%wt-P3HT/0.5%wt-PCBM chloroform-solution added with poor solvent ethanol was investigated by AFM images and UV/vis spectra.
