Study on the change of emission color due to current in dye-doped organic light-emitting diodes

(in English) Abstract In organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), it is well-known for the improvement of EL efficiency and the change of emission color due to dye-doping. It is worthy to pay attention to the case which emission color changes due to current. In other words, it is possible to control emission color by changing current. In this study using 4,4’-bis(2,2-biphenyl- ethen-1-yl)biphenyl (DPVBi) as host material which is famous for blue emission material and 4-(dicyano-methylene)-2-methyl-6- (p-dimethyl aminostyryl)-4H-pyran (DCM) as guest material, we investigate the change of emission color due to current in dye-doped OLEDs and we know that EL spectrum is influenced by excitons diffusion which vary with current.
