For microwave systems in the analogue generation, an interference canceller based on amplitude and phase differences between two receiving antennas was effective and therefore it was widely used. For wideband signals such as OFDM, however, the conventional canceller has become ineffective because the amplitude and phase fluctuate so rapidly. In this report, we propose a scheme to put the conventional canceller for each subcarrier of OFDM signals. The conventional canceller does not work properly when the phase difference between the two antennas is zero or small. The proposed scheme can estimate the necessary parameters of the canceller for a zero-phase subcarrier and the neighboring subcarriers by using information of the properly operating cancellers. We have confirmed that the proposed scheme
outperforms the conventional canceller by 2dB. |
