| (in English) | An inter-domain routing failure may pose crucial effect on service quality and may further lead to complete loss of Internet connectivity. Thus, in order to provide a stable connectivity to the Internet, it is important for ISP operators to have the ability to accurately locate these routing failures and to further understand the location of these unstable inter-domain links. However, with the scale and the complexity of the Internet today, it is difficult to accurately infer the location of these routing failures from the large amount of routing changing that occur each day. In this paper, we introduce a new methodology for locating the inter-domain routing failures by focusing on the convergence of specific prefixes from its bestpath. We describe the overview of our methodology and show the effectiveness of our proposal using some evaluation results using real BGP data observed in the Internet. | |
