Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper proposes the Mapping System in Z Network Protocol (ZNP) which is based on the concept
of ID/Locator Split and can manage variable network-layer (L3) protocol. We splited Mapping Agent into
Name Mapping Agent (NMA) and Identifier Mapping Agent (IMA), so network administrators can decide how to
deploy the Mapping Agents accordingly the nature of mapping. As NMAs and IMAs are deployed per domain and
mapping information in a domain doesn’t affect the other domains, this mapping system realizes scalablity. We
implemented NMA and IMA in userland and measured signaling overhead. In the future, we will add the function
of authentication when mapping information is registerd and we will improve the algorithm of searching mapping.
