Distributed Communication Timing Control Method for Decentralized TDMA Protocol Using Frequency Stable Periodic External Signals

(in English) Recently, researches have been developed for decentralized time division multiple access (TDMA), which realizes highly reliable communications especially in decentralized networks such as vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANET). In the decentralized TDMA, timing synchronization between vehicles must be made in a distributed scheme. On the other hand, the information of guard interval timing signal of OFDM in terrestrial digital TV signal has highly stable, noise immune periodicity, and its applications have been considered recently. Therefore we propose a new timing synchronization algorithm using frequency stable periodic external signals from the terrestrial digital TV signal, and its performance is analyzed through systematic simulations.
