| (in English) | IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society and IEEE Nagoya Section created a brand new community MTT-S Nagoya Chapter on 25 February 2010. The chapter regionally consists of seven prefectures: Toyama, Ishikawa, Fukui, Gifu, Mie, Aichi, Shizuoka in the midland of Japan. It technically covers microwave and millimeter-wave materials, semiconductor devices, active circuits, passive circuits, transmission lines, antennas, components, radio system applications and other RF technologies and sciences. As grass-root activities, the chapter sponsors specialized technical seminars and workshops beneficial to regional members, which can provide opportunities of cooperations and collaborations among academics and industries in the region. The chapter collaborates with sisters: MTT-S Japan Chapter, Kansai Chapter, AP-S Nagoya Chapter, and MAG Nagoya Chapter as well as with other communities including IEICE Tokai Branch and Hokuriku Branch. Through technical commitments to international events such as IMS, RWW, EuMW, APMC, CJMW, KJMW, TJMW, URSI, and PIERS, MTT-S Nagoya Chapter generates a fresh wave exciting the world from the midland Japan. | |
