Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The animate beings have the adaptive behaviors due to an environment in which the individuals are forced to restrain under it. If we can make the modeling for the complex behaviors of the animate beings through it's analysis, the modeling can be applied to design of the artifact which has the error tolerance. In this study, we focus interest on the fish locomotive behavior in the water area as the so-called the edge region which restrains the fish's behavior. In the next, it is developed the fish-like behavior algorithm for the mobile robot (e-puck), and it is compared fish behavior with robot one. We adopt the chaos analysis for the water tank experiments and mobile robot experiments. We can find the pattern of behaviors and its amount of characteristics.
These results will be the promising guidline to discuss the modeling of the fish's adaptive behaviors and its biomimetical application.
