Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In-vehicle signal transmission requires dedicated communication cables such as twisted metal wires andoptical ber cables, which increase the weight and volume of wiring harnesses in vehicles. In-vehicle power line communication (PLC) system is proposed to carry out the signal transmission between electronic control units (ECUs) via in-vehicle power lines. To design communication systems, we analyze communication environments which are mainly characterized by propagation channels and show that impulsive noises that have high amplitude and frequency selective spectra are observed. And, this paper proposes the model of impulsive noise and shows simulation results under impulsive noise environment in terms of BER. Next, this paper adopts hard limiter and soft limiter to avoid impuslivce noise. Finally, this paper shows a modulation scheme suitable for in-vehicle PLC.
