This study investigated the virtual haptic perception of size using a multi-finger virtual haptic system. We evaluated the point of subjective equality between the sizes of a real cube on the left hand and a virtual cube on the right hand. There were three conditions: 1-finger; 3-finger; and 3-finger with palm. Results suggested that force feedback applied on the palm contributed to accurate size recognition. In addition, using only one index finger resulted in the distortion of the perceived image size.
