In this paper, to evaluate the interference between mobile terminals, the prediction model of propagation loss with low height antenna in residential area is studied. Measurement of angular profile in residential area is carried out, and it is shown that propagation paths along the road and between the houses are dominant . Moreover, in the case of propagation path along the road, prediction formula of propagation loss can be derived by the road length from the transmitter instead of direct distance. And, in the case of propagation path between houses, prediction formula of propagation loss can be calculated by using visibility factor. In addition, it is also shown that propagation loss in residential area can be estimated by using the proposed formulas. |
