The statistical shape model has been focused by many researchers. This model can statistically express the anatomic structure of the organs which have great differences between individuals. In our earlier work we validated that it is feasible to diagnose liver cirrhosis by using the statistical shape model of the liver. However, the previous work constructed the statistical model without data normalization. In this research, we firstly normalize volume data and then construct the statistical model. The effectiveness of the constructed model is evaluated by the classification accuracy of normal and abnormal. |
