Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Three-dimensional(3D) motion information of bones of knee joint during knee bends is helpful for evaluation and development of braces. In order to obtain clinically used parameters directly, based on acquisition of 3D motion of human knee joint using bi-plane fluoroscopy and CT images, we have developed a procedure to convert the 3D motion information of bones to clinically used motion parameters. This time, we performed an experiment to assess the effect of three kinds of braces on knee joints of three healthy volunteers and three patients.
