Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In location estimation using time of arrival (TOA) algorithm, the performance is degraded due to measurement errors. One of the main reasons of the error is the non line of sight (NLOS) measurement. The distribution of measured scores is larger in NLOS environments, which leads to performance degradation. To tackle this problem, usually the maximum likelihood (ML) estimation is used under such environments. However, the calculation complexity is increased in ML estimation till an unpractical level if the number of sensors is large. In this paper, we newly adopt Malguki algorithm into the location estimation for NLOS environments, compare the performance and calculation complexity with ML estimation, and show the effectiveness of Malguki scheme in NLOS.
