Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We propose a paradigm and a signal processing method for a brain computer interface (BCI) using auditory steady state responses. In our BCI, we use two types of stimuli. Both of them are sinusoidal tones modulated by two different frequencies, and presented to a subject alternately. When the subject attends to one stimuli, we detect a steady state response to the stimulus. In our experiment, feature extraction is based on a spectrum analysis which leads to a high classification accuracy.
