A software development task is performed in accordance with requirements specification. Therefore, software requirements elicitation work in order to prepare requirements specification is a very important task. However, it is very difficult to elicit user requirements for software development without omissions or errors. In order to solve this problem, the author recognized requirements elicitation work as interview techniques, and already proposed a method[2,3][9,10] to navigate interview-driven software requirements elicitation work conducted by SEs to customers so that SEs are able to elicit user requirements without omissions or errors. This paper describes a preliminary experiment[1] conducted in order to obtain the knowledge of the method to navigate requirements elicitation work, proposes the method devised on a basis of the knowledge, and finally describes the effectiveness of the proposed method from the viewpoints of completeness, accuracy[9,10] and efficiency[11] of requirements elicitation work by conducting the comparative experiment[9,10,11] in regards to the cases that the method proposed in the Reference[2,3][9,10] was used and not used. |
