Noise reduction using a small microphone array for speech recognition

(in English) This paper addresses a noise reduction method using a stereo microphone array. Most of noises in car are defused and we are able to estimate driver location. Low computation power and noise robustness are also required for embedded system. So we adopt fixed beamformer to meet these demands. We also developed musical noise elimination method based on the density of flooring components and spectrum replacement based on the power difference between 2 beamformers. Experimental result shows that these methods improve speech recognition performance.
