For the increase of the ratio of payloads at the satellites, a small-size and lightweight BUS system (electrical power subsystem communication & data handling subsystem) is demanded. Application of digital source on satellites will be not only effected to reduce size and weight, it is also expected to achieve a high functionality. Satellites are put on a special environment (rapid temperature change, radiation deterioration, etc). The power supply on satellites must adjust to those special environments. Hill-climbing algorithm has been popularly employed for charge to solar battery on satellites. But hill-climbing algorithm is difficult to adjust these special environments and slow for response speed. We create the in-situ observation system that can adjust to rapid temperature change and radiation deterioration. In this paper we describe result of use the in-situ system for digital source on satellites. |
