Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, we describe a flexible architecture for a remote medical
care system using XMPP technology and Jingle extension. As a result of
vast growth of the social network infrastructure, remote medical care
systems become familiar to us. In remote medical care systems, high
resolution images, high resolution video and some speculative information
will be transmitted between each communication end
points, so that a QoS control function will be required in remote medical care systems.
Furthermore, several medical care devices will be introduced
one after another into a remote medical care environment. Consequently,
an architecture for medical care systems must have a QoS control function and
high flexibility simultaneously.
