(in English) This paper studies a design of optical orthogonal codes (OOC) with multiple chip rates.
In the previous works, the authors proposed a concept of the OOC with multiple chip rates which can keep orthogonal properties of the OOC even when different chip rate codewords are used in an optical access network.
It was obtained that feasibility of such OOC and its performance by computer code search and numerical analysis.
In this paper, the authors report some design procedures of the multiple chip rate OOC based on the BIBD method known as an algebraic design method.
We discuss its utilization, flexibility, orthogonality and effectiveness of the obtained codes.
