An efficient access control method for hierarchical multimedia content

(in English) This paper proposes an efficient method of access control for multimedia content. The proposed method controls access to entities which are hierarchically organized in an individual medium as well as to media. This method also reduces computational complexity for key derivation. In the proposed method, a service provider manages only a single key to control access to one multimedia content. The single managed key is not delivered to any user.
