An Algorithm to Estimate the Movement Timing to Indoor or Outdoor using Temperature Sensor

(in English) This paper proposes an algorithm to estimate the movement timing to indoor or outdoor. The method makes it possible to manage the electric power of GPS. We focus on a temperature data as a feature to detect the movement timing. Our algorithm estimates the movement timing based on the variation of temperature using cosine similarity. We verify that the proposal method detects the movement timing and manages the electric power of GPS. Evaluation results show that the accuracy of estimating the movement timing reaches about 70%, and our proposal produces the effect of decreasing the electric power of GPS.
