Cross-Layer Designed QoS Mapping Scheme for Wireless Networks

(in English) In the conventional wireless communications system, the packet length is controlled based on the CSI (Channel State Information) metrics. Since the multimedia application services are delay-sensitive, it is important to guarantee strict QoS (Quality of Service). In our proposed frameworks, we classify the various application services into two types of data transmissions, e.g., streaming and downloading types. Their categorized service types are shared as SI (Side Information) between layers, and we achieve the adaptive packet length control which switches two frames according to them.
