AKARI Architecture Design Project is doing R&D aiming at replacing a current network-layer technology into a new one that has enormous performance increase. In this talk, we address (1) comfort of mobility and heterogeneity by host ID and locator split architecture and (2) availability and routing table-size reduction by hierarchical and automatic number assignment for locators. |
