Microwave Power Transmission Using Open-Ring Resonator Coupling and GaN SBD

(in English) Experiments on wireless power transmission by microwave are carried out to develop the battery charging of mobile equipment. Open-Ring resonator coupling is used for the wireless power transmission and . GaN Schottky barrier diode is used for signal rectification. A rectenna circuit is formed on teflon circuit board. The maximum RF to DC conversion efficiency of 49.9% at 2.45GHz with 200Ω load resistor where output power is 3.1W and the output voltage is 24.7V.
