Sequential Network Change Detection with Its Applications to Advertisement Impact Relation Analysis

(in English) This paper addresses the issue of network change detection from non-stationary time series data. We employ as a representation of relations among factors a Bayesian network and apply the theory of dynamic model selection to the tracking of its changes.
Conventionally it has been proposed a batch algorithm for network change
detection, we propose a novel sequential algorithm for network change detection. The key idea is to sequentially apply dynamic programming technique over subsequences of length a fixed size. We further restrict the model space for the efficient computation.
We use artificial data sets to demonstrate the validity of the proposed method in comparison with the existing method. We further use real data sets to demonstrate that our proposed framework enables us to analyze an impact of an advertisement.
