Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Cooperative or conjoint action of creatures with autonomous oscillation can be considered as synchronization phenomena which are one of typical nonlinear dynamic properties. For example, there are a group singing of crickets, self-organized light synchronizations of fireflies and so on. Especially, fireflies can be modeled as optically coupled oscillators(OCOs) by using LEDs and photo interruptor. Synchronization phenomena of a couple of these oscillators were already investigated, however, synchronization of the single oscillator is not discussed. In this study, we model the firefly as OCO, and add the periodic external force input for one.
