At the time which passed for six months after the stroke developed, which is called chronic phase, it is being proved the physical function can be recovered by the suitable rehabilitation. Especially, sensorimotor integration function should be necessary for the trunk balance and skillful movement. But it is difficult this function can be evaluated quantitatively. Now, we have developed the new rehabilitation system for the training and quantitative evaluation for this function. In this paper, we performed the clinical trials for one stroke patient who was in chronic phase. By this, we verified the availability of the proposed method for the quantitative evaluation of the stroke patient and discussed the recovery process. |
