Li-ion battery is in practical use as the power storage device in the space vehicles, especially in satellites. A space exploration is making steady progress in the field of not only the communication and the observation technology but also human missions in the Moon and Mars exploration. A human activity in space needs a very high safety therefore, it is necessary for the battery to have a high energy density and a non-flammability. Ionic liquids are attractive electrolyte candidates for the next-generation Li battery because of good thermal stability. In this paper, several fundamental data such as electrical properties were reported. |
