Proposal of recommendation system by grasping user's interest and human relationships
Tae Sato, Koji Ito, Masanori Fujita, Minoru Kobayashi (NTT) LOIS2011-85
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We personalize recommendations by discerning and utilizing the user’s interests and human relationships. Our approach improves recommendation accuracy since we introduce the same measure to assess user’s interests and human relationships. The measure is the probability with which the user’s selections from a list deviate random sampling. Tests on actual data confirm that the proposal does improve recommendation accuracy.
