［招待講演］ITU-R標準化動向 ～ RA-12, WRC-12の結果と今後 ～

国際電気通信連合(ITU: International Telecommunication Union)の無線通信総会(RA-12 : Radiocommunication Assembly-12)と世界無線通信会議(WRC-12: World Radiocommunication Conference -12)がそれぞれ2012年1月16日から20日、1月23日～2月17日まで、スイスのジュネーブで開催されました．今回の会議では、コグニティブ無線とソフトウェア無線に新たな規制事項が必要か(議題1.19)およびIMT (International Mobile Telecommunications)方式で使用する新たな周波数の確保をWRC-15の新議題とするかが移動通信に関する主要な議題でした．本稿ではこれらの議題についてのこれまでのITU-Rでの検討状況、RAおよびWRCでの審議模様と主要結果を報告します． |

ITU (International Telecommunication Union) Radiocommunication Assembly (RA-12) and World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-12) were held from Januaryr 16th to 20th and January 23rd to February 17th , 2012 in Geneva, Switzerland. The main topic in WRC-12 on mobile communications were Agenda Item 1.19 on SDR (Software Defined Radio) and CRS (Cognitive Radio System) which discussed whether or not new regulatory measures were required for the introduction of SDR and CRS, and Agenda Item 8.2 on new agenda items for WRC-12, under which a new agenda item for additional spectrum for IMT (International Mobile Telecommunications) was set. In this paper, key outcomes pertinent to mobile communications and views expressed in the Conference are reported. |
