Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper presents a TCP differentiation combining TCP version identification and EDCA control . In current proposed TCP congestion controls, TCP Vegas controls congestion window (cwnd) based on round trip time (RTT), and it can suppress RTT. Therefore, TCP Vegas can do efficient communication alone. However, TCP Vegas decreases its throughput when it competes with other TCP versions. To solve this problem, in our previous paper, we proposed the TCP differentiation and it brings much better throughput in simulation experiments. In this paper, we present the advantages of this TCP differentiation in both implementation and simulation experiments assuming real environment.
