Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Frequency-domain space-time block coded-joint transmit/receive diversity (FD-STBC-JTRD) is a joint use of space-time block coding (STBC) and transmit frequency-domain equalization (transmit FDE), and the diversity order of the number of transmit antennas times that of receive antennas can be achieved with low receiver complexity. However, the performance of FD-STBC-JTRD was confirmed by computer simulation only. The code design for FD-STBC-JTRD has not been well described yet. In this paper, the code design for FD-STBC-JTRD is presented first. Then, the performance of FD-STBC-JTRD is evaluated by both computer simulation and numerical computation to compare with FD-STTD.
